Charles Norwood

Charles Norwood
CEO

Charles leads the team at Tekron and works hard to keep everyone focussed on developing superior products and providing our customers with superior service.

Charles was appointed CEO in April 2012. He joined Tekron as a Marketing Manager, a role which he held for just over two years and was appointed General Manager in 2010. Charles has been heavily involved in the growth of Tekron, from marketing and product development through to sales and is influential in positioning the company as a leading GPS clock manufacturer. He readily admits that his technical ability is close to nil, but this doesn’t keep him awake at night as he is surrounded by experts who are happy to step in whenever the conversation turns technical.

Charles joined Tekron from a company that specialised in the development of risk management and internal audit software, where he was the Marketing Manager. Previous positions include senior marketing and management roles in the arts and education in New Zealand and the UK.

Charles is a keen squash player, skier and swimmer; a not so keen runner and an erratic mountain biker. His pastimes include spear fishing, kayaking, gardening and convincing his five year old son that you can never be too young to set your sights on playing rugby for New Zealand.

Aleks Ristich

Aleks Ristich
Technical Manager

Aleks joined Tekron in mid 2009 and quickly proved his worth as an incredible electronics engineer and someone who can complete a project on time and within budget – a very rare feat in software development.

Aleks completed his MSc in Electronics and Computer Systems Engineering in 2008. In early 2009, after a brief sojourn in the field of robotics (he has published a paper titled “Iterative Approach on Redesigning and Construction of a Pipe Inspection Robot”), Aleks joined Tekron as a Development Engineer. Initially tasked with writing software, Aleks very quickly became deeply involved with all aspects of product development.

In September 2010 Aleks was promoted to the position of Technical Manager, a role in which he has finely honed the art of multi-tasking. He can work solidly on his own projects whilst overseeing and reviewing other production team members’ projects and at the same time managing a team of software and hardware engineers.

Aleks is a keen basketball and football player and a passionate snow boarder. He also follows any sport that Serbia excels in and firmly believes that the 2014 Football World Cup is Serbia’s for the taking.
